Midsemester break begins tomorrow, and the semester is truly winding down. After the two week break, there are only 3 weeks of classes left, then study week and exams! Obviously, busy times are ahead. I don’t have too many plans this semester break, except moving house, and buying a car. There is talk among some classmates of renting a house on the beach for a few days. If that comes to fruition that should be a really great time. Throw in a couple of papers and some long-distance wedding planning, and I think I’ll be pretty occupied.
I can’t believe how fast this semester has gone. In no time, everyone will be going their separate ways, some returning to their homelands, some going off to work in other wine regions. I will be flying home shortly before Thanksgiving, getting married, moving Kevin out of his home, roadtripping across the country to his hometown Tucson for the holidays. From there, we’re squeezing in a honeymoon in Belize and then both of us are heading back to Australia to work in the Clare Valley.
It all adds up to a lot of running around so I might not be checking in for a bit. Perhaps I can tide you over with some photos I took from various field trips I attended during this term. Hope you find them interesting!
